Purpose

To work with local Emergency Communication resources to ensure support of the local community and County in a Communications Emergency.
To promote interest and proficiency in amateur radio communications with respect to improving operating and technical skills within the Post community.
To conduct activities and programs to advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio in the Post community.
To help members  learn necessary skills for obtaining an FCC amateur radio operator’s license.
To promote within the Post 193 community an understanding of amateur radio communications.

Membership

Membership is open to any member  of Post 193 (including Post, Auxiliary, Son of the AL)
